Stan Baker, L.Ac., Dipl. Ac.

Stan Baker graduated from Kototoma Institute in New Mexico and has been practicing Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine for 30 over years. During the early 1970’s he became interested in Oriental Medicine, Eastern Philosophy and Mind-body practices.

Upon graduating from Acupuncture school in 1983 he started an Acupuncture practice in New Mexico. In 1985 he opened practices in Springfield, Massachusetts and in Connecticut. Over the past almost three decades he has been researching and continuing his education in various styles of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. He has also completed the Kanpo program in Herbal Medicine.

Stan Baker’s interests in the healing art forms of Qi Gong lay well beyond the average Oriental Healing Practitioner. He is a avid practitioner and master instructor of Chen Tai Chi with ongoing weekly classes. He is also a instructor/practitioner, with a Black Belt, in the defensive art form of Aikido since 1980. He is a instructor/practitioner of Sun Do Mountain Yoga since 1986 and is also a practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism.
