弟子吴益民，年十八，来自美国康乃狄克州，今为上海中医药大学二〇二五级针灸推拿专业学生。出身中医世家，祖父吴木清承凤阳门衣钵，父亲吴明杰继志行医，至我已为第四代传承人。

I am Wu Yimin, eighteen years old, from Connecticut, USA, currently a student of the Acupuncture and Tuina program, Class of 2025, at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I come from a lineage of traditional Chinese physicians—my grandfather, Wu Muqing, inherited the teachings of the Fengyang School; my father, Dr. Mingjie Wu, continues this path with dedication. I am thus the third-generation inheritor of our family tradition.

自幼耳濡目染，见父亲清晨七时半出门应诊，夜深方归；寒暑无间，诊病不倦。他将全部心血倾注于中医事业，以疗病救人视为天职。

Since childhood, I have watched my father leave home at 7:30 every morning to see patients, often returning late at night. In all seasons, he has devoted himself tirelessly to the healing arts, regarding the practice of medicine as his sacred duty.

父亲治病，不独医身，更医心；以道家、佛家智慧开导患者明因悟道；以内服中药辨证施治，外辅针灸推拿疏通经络；更授以气功、太极等功法，以固本培元，涵养身心。弟子深受感动，立志继承并弘扬中医之道。

My father not only treats the body but also heals the heart. He guides his patients with the wisdom of Daoism and Buddhism, helping them discover the roots of illness. He prescribes herbal medicine according to syndrome differentiation, applies acupuncture and tuina to harmonize the meridians, and teaches qigong and Taiji to strengthen and balance body and mind. Deeply moved by his example, I have resolved to carry forward and embody the true spirit of Chinese medicine.

今幸得缘入中医之门，深觉学海无涯，己识犹浅。愿谨守医德，勤求古训，虚心求教，笃志修身。

Now, as I step onto the path of traditional Chinese medicine, I am keenly aware that the study of this art is vast and boundless, and my own understanding still shallow. I vow to uphold medical ethics, diligently study the classical teachings, seek instruction with humility, and cultivate both skill and virtue.

诚恳祈请师父、师公不吝教诲，赐以指导；亦愿得诸位师兄师姐提携相助，共同砥砺前行。

I sincerely ask my Master and Grandmaster for their generous guidance and teachings, and I hope for the kind support and encouragement of my senior brothers and sisters, so that we may learn and grow together.

弟子必当不负师恩，潜心研习，精诚为医，以济世利人，续吾家之志，承中医之道。

I pledge to honor the grace of my teachers, to study with dedication, to practice medicine with integrity and compassion, to serve humanity, and to continue my family’s mission—upholding and advancing the Dao of Chinese medicine.
